Summary
I went to Cabo during our President’s Day break in February 2025 with my wife and our two young children (10 son, 7 daughter) along with close family friends. This trip was wonderful – it was a great family break bonding with friends and we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We stayed in the tourist area which was perfect because we could easily get to the popular spots, restaurants and experiences in Cabo and San Jose. The weather cooperated nicely – 80s every day, breezy nights and no rain. Uber was easy and safe to take everywhere. The flight is a bit long (5 hours +) from NY but 4 nights was a great amount of time for us.
Accommodations
During our visit to Cabo, we stayed at the Rosewood Las Ventanas Al Paraiso. The Rosewood is in a perfect location between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas thus giving great access to the best of both. The hotel is right on the beach – it has a very warm, local feel, an awesome beach and lovely breakfast set up. The speakeasy bar was a hidden gem – the experience was outstanding and we can’t wait to return.

Recommendation
I would highly recommend an extended break to Cabo. The weather, the dining, the activities are so much fun. Make reservations and plan excursions well ahead of time to get the spots and experiences you want. Enjoy!
